St. Jerome School is proud to announce that Pablo
Iglesias has been selected as a Blue Ribbon Winner in the 14th Annual Students
Voices Contest, sponsored by the Illinois Council Against Handgun Violence.
His entry was selected by hundreds of entries as the most powerful

In
November, St. Jerome's 8th grade English class was entered in an essay contest
for Illinois council Against Handgun Violence. The winner was Pablo Iglesias.
In the essay, they had to write about the effects of gun violence in their
neighborhood and how it can be stopped. Pablo will be presented his award on
June 3rd at the Pulaski Fine Arts Academy.
